Returns

Change of mind returns

We want you to love your Kunama pieces. If something isn’t quite right, we offer 30-day change of mind returns from the date your order is delivered. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original, resaleable condition with all tags attached. Items should be returned in their original packaging where possible.

For hygiene reasons, underwear and socks cannot be returned for a change of mind and may only be returned if faulty.

How to return an item

To start a return, simply email thoughts@kunamathelabel.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return. We’ll respond within 24 business hours with return authorisation and instructions.

Return shipping

All returns must be sent using tracked shipping. Change of mind returns are the customer’s responsibility. For faulty or incorrect items, return shipping costs are covered by Kunama The Label. We are not responsible for items lost in transit during return shipment, so please keep your tracking receipt.

Exchanges

If your size or colour isn’t quite right, we’re here to help you find the perfect fit. Exchanges are processed as a return and a new order to ensure faster turnaround. Any price differences will be confirmed with you before proceeding.

Faulty Items & Warranty

We stand behind the quality of every Kunama garment with a 12-month quality guarantee from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty stitching, fabric defects, and workmanship issues. It does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse or accidents, failure to follow care instructions, or alterations made after purchase.

To make a warranty claim, please email thoughts@kunamathelabel.com with your order number or proof of purchase, clear photos of the issue (both close-up and full garment), a brief description of the fault, and details on how the garment has been cared for. Warranty claims are typically assessed within 48 hours. If approved, we’ll provide a prepaid return label and arrange a replacement or refund.

Refunds

Once your return is received, items are inspected within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 2–3 business days after inspection and issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the funds.

Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. These consumer rights cannot be excluded.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

1. BUST / CHEST
Stand upright with arms relaxed at your sides. Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure horizontal across your back. The tape should be snug but not tight.

2. WAIST
Find your natural waistline by bending to one side, it is the crease that forms. This is usually 2 to 3cm above your belly button. Measure around this narrowest part, keeping the tape horizontal. Do not suck in, breathe normally.

3. HIP
Stand with feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, usually about 20cm below your natural waistline. Keep the tape horizontal and parallel to the floor.

4. INSEAM
Measure from your crotch to where you want the leggings to end, which is typically right above the ankle bone for ski boots. Use a pair of well-fitting pants as a guide, or have someone help you measure while standing.

5. HEIGHT
Stand straight against a wall without shoes. Place a book flat on your head, touching the wall. Mark the wall, then measure from the floor to your mark.

6. HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure around your head at the widest part, usually about 2.5cm above your eyebrows, over the back of your head where it slopes up from the neck.

SIZING TIPS

  • Take measurements over underwear or thin clothing to get the most accurate result.
  • Use a soft measuring tape, if you do not have one, use string and measure it against a standard ruler.
  • Between sizes? Our premium fabric features immense natural stretch and will perfectly adapt to your shape. If you fall between sizes, do not size up. We recommend sticking to your smaller size choice for a secure, athletic fit.
  • Merino stretch properties mean our luxury performance fabric provides exceptional natural expandability for overall comfort and movement.
  • Laundering notes, merino wool naturally resists odor and requires less frequent washing. Hand wash using cold water and lay flat in the shade to dry. Do not tumble dry under any circumstances.
